ACCU Awarded Superior 5-star Financial Rating
America’s Christian Credit Union (ACCU), a faith-based financial institution headquartered in Glendora, CA, was awarded a five-star “superior” institution rating by BauerFinancial.
In keeping with the credit union's mission and key corporate priorities, each dollar invested at ACCU is used to provide loan assistance to churches and ministries to build: stronger families, stronger futures, stronger communities and stronger ministries. ACCU has remained true to the biblical principles on which it was founded in 1958. A banking partner for individuals and organizations across a spectrum of Christian traditions, the credit union is dedicated to serving the wider Kingdom of God.
Evaluating credit unions nationwide, BauerFinancial, a leading independent bank and credit union rating firm, awarded ACCU a five-star “superior” rating. Dating back to 1983, BauerFinancial assigns a zero to five-stars ranking every quarter. Evaluations and reports are compiled from financial data for the period noted as reported to federal regulators. BauerFinancial relies on this data in the determination of the star ratings. The quarterly information is subjected to a thorough analysis and is compared with historical data for consistency, which pays homage to ACCU’s consistent year-over-year track record.
In response to the news of the award ACCU President/CEO Vicki VannBerstein said, “This is indeed a real honor, blessing and statement of God’s hand on our mission. It reflects our team’s dedication and the measure of His provision on what we do.”
